Admission test, Result and all other educational curriculum news of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), the pioneer Technical Institutes of Armed Forces, started its journey from 19th April 1998. It was the visionary leadership on the Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina to establish a Technical Institute of Armed Forces. Accordingly, the Honourable Prime Minister, People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina unveiled the Foundation Plaque on 19th April 1998. MIST is found at Mirpur Cantonment, and that is around the northwest of Dhaka City.

Eligibility for study:
- Science group
- Students who passed HSC/equivalent in 2010 or 2011.
- GPA 4.0 in SSC/equivalent as well as HSC/equivalent.
- In HSC: minimum A grade just about any 2 subjects out of Four subjects (Physics, Mathematics,Chemistry & English) and also minimum (A Minus) grade in rest of 2 subjects.
- 2000 candidatesin line with the result of HSC/equivalent examination will probably be short listed for admission test.
For GCE: Qualifying in at least 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English with B grade in average in O level and 3 subjects in A-level obtained B grade including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

Application will be posted on-line via online from MIST website (http://www.mist.ac.bd) if you are paying taka 600 (six hundred only) from TeleTalk Prepaid cell phone. Essential directions according of filling the E-application will probably be available in the Prospectus.
